Due to the increasing demand for tourist accommodation in the capital, the investor decided to renovate the old-town building in the center of Ljubljana. The renovation is located on the first floor of the building, where we placed four apartments. The three apartments are designed to have separate bedrooms, while the fourth has a gallery bedroom so that it is intended as a studio apartment.

The existing niches of the former passages are utilized for the installation of the built-it closets in the bedrooms. With that we saved and took advantage of the space that was available for us. Due to the older construction, we had limited access to light and arranged the apartments accordingly, providing all the more important spaces with enough light. The building needed new hardware installation, so in some places we raised the floor of the apartments. As a consequence, different levels of flooring appeared on the premises, which we used quite a bit for the dynamism of the apartments. We used neutral colors for the equipment, so that the owner will have the opportunity to add his note on the minor details added.
